ECDA Fellows

Scope
ECDA Fellows will take on sector-level roles, primarily in three key areas:

Strengthen early childhood (EC) sector leadership and preschool collaboration by developing, mentoring and coaching leaders, and supporting centres
-
Co-create and advance ECDA’s sector initiatives, including education and operational technology, to keep Singapore’s EC sector at the forefront of early childhood education

Advocate for the sector to elevate professional standing and strengthen partnership among educators, families and communities
Appointment Terms, Service Recognition and Professional Development
- A 3-year term (subject to confirmation upon 1st year of service)
- Up to 300 service hours over three-year term
- Annual Service Recognition Allowance (SRA) of up to $12,000, upon satisfactory fulfilment of responsibilities

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
- Be employed in ECDA-licensed Early Childhood Development Centre (ECDC) or its HQ, an ECDA-funded Early Intervention Service Provider, or a local Institute of Higher Learning 1 offering programmes related to the early childhood and/or early intervention sector at the point of application.
- Have at least 12 years of professional experience in the early childhood and/or early intervention sector 2, with ground experience 2 within the last five (5) years
- Possess a relevant EC/EI qualification; and
- Demonstrate the relevant skills and competencies in the Skills Framework for Early Childhood required for:
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) Track: Senior Centre Leader or Curriculum / Pedagogy Specialist
- Learning Support (LS) Track: Cluster Manager / Senior Lead Learning Support Educator
- Early Intervention (EI) Track: Director / Senior Lead Early Intervention Educator
1 National Institute of Education (NIE), National Institute of Early Childhood Development (NIEC) or Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS)
2 Teaching and Leadership experience in an ECDC or EI service provider, including HQ

Applications for the 5th intake of ECDA Fellows will open from 13 Jul 2026 to 25 Sep 2026, 5pm.

Selection Process
All complete applications will be assessed through a rigorous selection process conducted by ECDA.
The selection process may include one or more interviews with an evaluation panel, and/or on-site observations.
ECDA’s decision on the outcome of the application is final, and appeals will not be entertained.
