Inclusive Preschool Practice Guide

INCLUSIVE PRESCHOOL PRACTICE GUIDE:
A Resource to begin your Inclusion Journey

The Inclusive Preschool Practice Guide (IPPG) is a resource that aligns early childhood education best practices with the recommended practices for inclusive preschool education. It aims to support all Early Childhood (EC) Practitioners in enhancing inclusive practices within their class or centre.

Each chapter in the IPPG delves into one of the 7 Recommended Practices from the Inclusive Support Programme (InSP) model. Through the IPPG, you will be guided to:

  1. Cultivate high-quality learning environments and learning opportunities for all children
  2. Support participation for all children through assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating their learning
  3. Recognise opportunities for collaboration with other practitioners and families

As you embark on this inclusion journey, ECDA would like to encourage you to make use of the IPPG to deepen your practices to support children with diverse needs. Remember that inclusion is a journey and not a destination, and you are part of a growing community of educators committed to creating inclusive learning environments for all children.
