AECES Code of Ethics

AECES Code of Ethics for Early Childhood Professionals (3rd Edition)

The Code of Ethics outlines the professional responsibilities that every early childhood professional1 must uphold in practice. It articulates the beliefs and guiding principles which early childhood professionals commit themselves to as members of the profession.

To further internalise the Code of Ethics, AECES has also compiled case studies that illustrate real-world applications of its principles to facilitate discussion, reflection and professional development.

1Early childhood professionals include those working in early childhood and early intervention settings.
