![]() | Professor Lasse Lipponen is a Professor of Education (special reference to early childhoood education) from the Department of Teacher Education, University of Helsinki, and Head of the Kindergarten Teacher and Early Childhood Education Degree Programme. With a Ph.D (Doctorate in Education) from the University of Turky, Prof. Lipponen's research interest is in children's learning and development, formal and informal learning environments, understanding children's experiences and perceptions in their life-world with digital documentation and participatory research methods, play and teacher education. |

![]() | Dr Chong Shang Chee is the Head and Consultant for the Child Development Unit, Division of Development and Behavioural Paediatrics at the Khoo Teck Puat - NationalUniversity Children’s Medical Institute. An expert in the field of paediatrics, Dr Chong possesses a medical degree from the National University of Singapore, specialist degrees in paediatrics from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK) and a Master of Medicine in Paediatrics. Her research interest lies in autism, development and behavioural issues as well as learning and developmental difficulties in children and is a strong advocate for children and families with special needs. Dr Chong was also part of ECDA’s Early Years Development Framework (EYDF) Advisory Committee as well as the principal investigator (PI) of a research project funded by MSF’s Family Research Network Fund. |
