Becoming an Assistant Infant Educator

To work as an Assistant Infant Educator for children from birth to 18 months, you may embark on the following Certificate-level programme at the Private Training Agency (PTA).

KLC International Institute

Fundamentals Certificate in Infant Care (FCIC)

Fundamentals Certificate in Infant Care (Chinese) [FCIC CL)]

Academic Requirements:

  • NA

Language Requirements:

  • Able to converse, read and write in the programme language (English or Chinese). 

 

Becoming an Assistant Early Years Educator

To work as an Assistant Early Years Educator for children from 18 months to 4 years, you may embark on the following Certificate-level programme at the Private Training Agencies (PTAs).

Fundamentals Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education (FECCE)

Academic Requirements:

  • Secondary 2 or minimum 8 years of formal education
