Kindergarten Fee Assistance Scheme Start-Up Grant (KiFAS SUG)

The KiFAS SUG is a yearly grant to cover the initial costs of enrolling your child at an AOP or MOE kindergarten. The SUG is capped at $240 per year and covers the registration fee, deposit, school uniform, insurance, educational material fees etc.

You may apply for KiFAS SUG for your child if you meet the following criteria:

1. Your child is a Singapore Citizen and enrolled at an AOP or MOE kindergarten.
2. Your family’s gross monthly household income is $1,900 or less, or per capita income is $650 or less.

Note: The first KiFAS SUG application is to be made together with your KiFAS subsidy application upon your child’s enrolment at the kindergarten. For subsequent KiFAS SUG applications, please approach your child’s kindergarten to apply, provided you are receiving KiFAS subsidies.
