I. PRE-SCHOOL OPPORTUNITY FUND
[For non-anchor operators registered/licensed with ECDA]
Non-anchor operators who wish to embark on projects that promote the holistic development of less advantaged children in their centres may apply for the Pre-school Opportunity Fund. Projects can include targeted programmes, partnerships with stakeholders, or customised in-house projects that develop children in one or more of the following areas: cognitive, aesthetic, moral, physical and social & emotional development. The funding cap is $1,300 per qualifying child for each project.

II. ENHANCED VWO DEVELOPMENT GRANT
[For non-anchor operator child care centres in HDB void deck premises operated by VWOs]
With effect from 14 August 2013, VWOs who are allocated HDB premises through the open selection process will qualify for the enhanced development grant support. The higher level of funding and norm cost will enable VWOs to receive greater support for infrastructure development of their new centres. Development Cost Support (Enhanced) | Furniture & Fittings (F&E) grant |
Development Grant: Equivalent to 50% of $665 per m2 (based on floor area); OR the actual cost incurred,whichever is lower. | F&E Grant: The licensed capacity of the entre, up to $27,000 for the first 30 places and $300 for each additional place; OR the total sum of the approved invoices submitted, whichever is lower. |
