How to play:

  1. Choose one person to be the caller who will read out the items in random order.
  2. Give each player one bingo card and a pencil.
  3. Players mark off the items as they are called. The first player to complete a full row, column or diagonal shouts “Bingo!” and wins.

Benefits of Bingo

Bingo is a fun way to help develop cognitive skills like memory, pattern recognition and focus. The multi-player nature of the game supports social skills, turn-taking and teamwork. This National Day-themed version has the added benefit of introducing children new vocabulary that strengthens their sense of identity and belonging.

Use the game as a fun starting point to instil national pride in your child. Watch the National Day Parade together on television, take them to a coffee shop for kaya toast, or point out the Singapore Flyer during your outings. Here’s a bonus: The printable set includes a page of fun facts about all the bingo squares, which you can share with your little one!
