ECDA launches the fourth edition of ‘Start Small Dream Big’ in 2018!

SSDB 2018 kicked off with a virtual launch via Facebook on 6 April 2018, Friday! Preschools celebrated the launch of their SSDB projects with children, parents and the community at their respective centres, and shared photos and videos of their launch parties through our Facebook Event Page!
Here are the highlights of the Virtual Launch:
In 2018, some 39,000 children from over 670 preschools participated in the ‘Start Small Dream Big’ movement, almost a 5-fold increase from the 8,000 children from 150 preschools in 2015. Watch the SSDB 2018 Finale video screened at this year’s Appreciation Ceremony!

SSDB 2018 Finale – Appreciation Ceremony & Exhibition
The SSDB Finale event marks the closing of the year’s SSDB projects. This year’s Finale featured fun-filled activities for families, and showcased centres’ collaborations with partners on their community projects. An Appreciation Ceremony gave thanks to all the participants of this year’s SSDB, with over 1,000 pre-schoolers setting a new record in the Singapore Book of Records for ‘The Largest Gathering of Preschoolers Wearing Bucket Hats’!
