In his congratulatory remarks, Minister for Social and Family Development, Mr Masagos Zulkifli reaffirmed the pivotal role EC educators play in shaping young minds, and the Government’s commitment to supporting them at every stage of their careers. Educators can also look forward to enhanced progression pathways as he shared about the revised Skills Framework and Continuing Professional Development Roadmaps that would be launched subsequently. Responding to one of the questions asked by our TA recipient, Minister Masagos acknowledged that the demands and expectations of EC educators today are very different from what they used to be. He encouraged recipients to develop themselves professionally and think about how they can harness technology to enhance the preschool environment.
This year, 372 TA recipients took up the award as they embark on their EC journey. Check out the video featuring our newly awarded recipients!
During the Ceremony, 6 outstanding in-service early childhood educators received the ECDA Scholarship to pursue the Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees in Early Childhood Education, while 20 TA recipients received the ECDA TA Commendation Award for their exemplary performance during their studies.
