INSPIRING LEADERSHIP: NURTURING THE FUTURE
All Early Childhood Professionals – Principals, Educators and Educarers – can embrace leadership. As a fraternity, we can all work together to make a positive impact in the lives of young children and their families by adopting a growth mindset, embracing change, reframing existing understanding and practices, and tackling challenges with new and innovative solutions.

CONFERENCE PROGRAMME
Over the period of 2-days, more than 1,200 EC professionals were inspired by an insightful and inspirational line-up of 2 keynote and plenary presentations by overseas and local experts as well as an exciting repertoire of 37 enriching concurrent workshops!

There was also a line-up of 8 exciting Learning Journeys to discover the world of curriculum, pedagogical and leadership possibilities beyond the pre-school classrooms.
EARLY CHILDHOOD EXHIBITION 2017
Some 10,000 parents, educators and children joined us for a fun-filled educational experience at our Early Childhood Exhibition this year!
The Exhibition was a collaborative effort by ECDA together with our early childhood professionals and community partners to share with parents and educators innovative ideas on how to support children’s learning and development. Participants were treated to an exciting array of interactive activities and performances at the Central Stage!

KEY ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR ECC 2017
Minister Desmond Lee announced 3 strategic thrusts for leadership development in the early childhood sector. It includes the launch of the Professional Development Programme for Leaders, the extension of the existing ECDA Fellows Programme to more applicants and the creation of the Early Years Development Framework Educarers' Guide.
