Early Childhood Conference 2016
ENRICHING CHILDHOOD: IT TAKES A VILLAGE
While pre-schools work diligently to educate children in a nurturing environment, they cannot do it alone. As the African proverb puts it, "It takes a village to raise a child."
Pre-schools need to build strong partnerships with families and the community. When early childhood educators, family and the community work as partners in education, they form a caring community to support children in their learning and development.
