The educarer works with young children aged between 2 months and 4 years. Educarers are primarily responsible for creating a safe environment for the young ones to discover their potential. Besides teaching and carrying out play activities with these children, they also manage routine care.

Assistant Educarer:
Assist educarers with children aged 18 months to 4 years old
Infant Educarer:
Work with children aged 2 to 18 months old
Infant and Toddler Educarer:
Work with children aged 2 months to 3 years old

Educarer Teacher

The preschool teacher, or more commonly known as a kindergarten or childcare teacher, works with children aged 18 months to 6 years old. Preschool teachers enrich children’s learning by carrying out a curriculum that prioritises aesthetics and creative expression, discovery of the world, language and literacy, motor skills development, numeracy, social and emotional development.

Health checks and breakfast

Ensure all children who enter childcare are healthy, and proceed to feed them breakfast to get them energised for the day.

Outdoor learning / Lessons

Bring children outdoors to develop their gross-motor and social skills. Teach the children about numeracy, literacy, and creative expression.

Shower

Shower the children and diaper toddlers. Keep an eye out for their health and safety.

Lunch time

Provide children with a nutritious lunch and teach them the importance of a balanced diet.

Nap time

Prepare children for naps so that they can recharge for the day ahead. This could mean playing soothing music to them or preparing milk for younger children.

Your work day ends at 7pm, when their parents arrive to pick the children up.
