Dear Parents, are you concerned about the long waiting lists when trying to locate a pre-school for your child?
The Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) is rolling out new strategies to better facilitate parents in their search for a pre-school.
One key strategy would be to make use of innovative spaces to build child care centres which would allow for faster and more low-cost construction as compared to conventional methods and spaces. In addition, ECDA has also rolled out the Registration Management System (RMS) to help parents identify vacancies in centres.
Mr Chan Chun Sing, Minister for Social and Family Development and Second Minister for Defence, discusses in depth about these strategies through an interview with Channel NewsAsia.
