    Advisory to Parents - Keeping Our Children Safe Against COVID-19: Preschools to suspend general services


    In view of the increasing number of locally transmitted COVID-19 cases in Singapore in the past week, the Multi-Ministry Taskforce will be implementing more safe distancing measures as a circuit breaker to limit the local transmission of COVID-19. The aim is to minimise movements and interactions in public and private places, and encourage everyone to stay at home unless necessary for essential purposes.

    Temporary Closure Of My First Skool Located At 49 Rivervale Crescent Singapore 544576


    The Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) was informed on 2 April 2020 that a teaching staff at My First Skool located at 49 Rivervale Crescent, Singapore 544576 (“the Centre”) tested positive for COVID-19. She was last in the Centre on Tuesday, 31 March 2020.

    Temporary Closure of MY World Preschool Ltd (52 Lengkok Bahru)


    One of the new COVID-19 cases announced by the Ministry of Health (MOH) today (Case 221) is a staff at MY World Preschool Ltd (52 Lengkok Bahru). The staff is linked to Case 204 who tested positive on 13 March 2020. She last attended the preschool on 13 March 2020.

    Advisory to Parents: Keeping Our Children in Preschools Safe Against COVID-19


    The World Health Organisation (WHO) declared the COVID-19 outbreak as a global pandemic on 11 March 2020, and called upon governments around the world to do more to combat the virus. The Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) will be implementing additional precautionary measures in preschools. These build on a series of precautionary measures that have been progressively implemented in preschools since January 2020.

    Temporary Closure of The Orange Tree (CCK) Pte Ltd


    As announced by the Ministry of Health (MOH) today, one of the new COVID- 19 cases confirmed today (Case 160) is a 5-year old child enrolled in The Orange Tree (CCK) Pte Ltd. The child is a family member of Case 145 who tested positive yesterday, 8 March 2020. He last attended preschool last week on 6 March 2020.

    Temporary Closure Of Creative O Preschoolers' Bay


    As announced by the Ministry of Health today, one of the new COVID-19 cases confirmed today (Case 112) is an assistant cook working in Creative O Preschoolers' Bay (31 International Business Park). She became unwell on 21 February 2020 a few hours into her shift, and went to see a doctor promptly. She was placed on medical leave and has not been in the preschool since then.

    The Ministry of Health has stepped up their risk assessment from DORSCON Yellow to DORSCON Orange with effect from 7 February 2020. To protect the health and wellbeing of children and staff in preschools, the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) has progressively implemented a series of precautionary measures in preschools over the past month.
