Nurturing Young Minds: Building Strong Foundations

Quality early childhood development can have a positive impact on children’s brain growth and holistic development. As early childhood (EC) professionals, we play an important role in creating quality experiences and enriching environments that can shape children’s physical, cognitive, language and social-emotional   development.

Research tells us that laying strong foundations for children in these areas will have long term benefits.

Come join us on Friday, 5 Oct and Saturday, 6 Oct 2018 at the ECDA Early Childhood Conference. Learn more about brain development and equip yourself      with practical strategies and activities to support and guide young children’s learning, development and well-being.

Our Early Childhood Professionals can look forward to:

• 2 inspiring keynote presentations by overseas and local speakers, delving into brain development in young children and how to employ visual thinking         strategies.

• A stimulating plenary session, discussing how parents and EC professionals can create a basis for shared understanding and work together to build strong   foundations for young children.

• A wide repertoire of more than 40 hands-on and interactive workshops, delving into a range of early childhood issues, evidence informed practices,              innovative solutions and strategies that can provide a richer educational experience for children.

8 exciting Learning Journeys to explore curriculum and pedagogical possibilities in the preschool classroom and beyond.
